NRG restarted the reactor in Petten, Netherlands, on 17 March 2022, after necessary corrections to address the water leak in the test facilities on the outside of the reactor core and obtaining necessary permissions from the regulatory authorities. Timely supply of isotopes for patient care was an important factor in the quick actions.
