The Orano group recently celebrated the construction of the stable isotopes laboratory on the Orano Tricastin site (Drôme), in the presence of Philippe Knoche, Chief Executive Officer of Orano, Jean-Bernard Levy, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of EDF, François Jacq, Chief Executive Officer of the CEA, as well as elected officials from the territory.
Wishing
to strengthen its know-how and enhance its cutting-edge technologies, Orano is
developing a new activity on the Tricastin site: the production of stable isotopes,
powered by the mastery of technologies and the know-how of the site's teams.
The
new facility with an area of 3,200 square meters represents an investment of
nearly 15 million euros and will employ about twenty highly qualified people. First
production is expected to commence in the 2nd semester of 2023.
